ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

At IMPACT, we consider our interns our new stars. Therefore, we offer you the opportunity for a versatile internship, providing you the chance to use your academic learnings in a professional setting, developing an important set of hard and soft skills.

We're looking for a recent graduate to join our People & Culture team as an HR Intern at IMPACT Commerce Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on, end-to-end HR experience in an international setting: while formally part of the Portuguese team, you'll have the chance to work with our People & Culture colleagues in Denmark, supporting shared projects.

You'll get exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding, HR administration, and culture initiatives, with real ownership of tasks and projects from early on, and a structured 6-month plan to guide your development.

What you'll do

• Support end-to-end recruitment when needed: drafting and posting job ads, screening CVs, search and scheduling;

• Support onboarding of new hires in Portugal (when applicable) and collaborate on shared onboarding practices;

• Assist with HR administration: documentation and HR systems/tools;

• Contribute to employee engagement and internal culture initiatives in the Portuguese unit;

• Help produce HR reporting;

• Collaborate cross-country and cross-culturally on shared People & Culture projects;

• Lead a small independent improvement project during the internship.

YOUR PROFILE

• A recent graduate in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, or a related field;

• Fluent in English;

• Based in Évora;

• Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously;

• Curious about international and cultural HR practices;

• A clear communicator with strong attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information;

• Comfortable using digital tools and open to learning new HR systems.
