Senior .NET Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior .NET Developer at IMPACT Commerce Portugal, you will play a crucial role in the development of large e‑commerce projects for some of our largest brands and retailers. From day one, you will experience a high involvement in the development of next-generation e-commerce platforms, contributing to technical execution and decision-making on a distributed team. We expect you to be an expert in turning designs into working deliverables and translating strategy and business needs into solution concepts.
You will work with a tech stack that includes .NET, Azure, and C#. We usually develop Composable Commerce solutions that require integration with other cloud platforms like CMS, e.g., Umbraco. You will be part of our team in Portugal, working collaboratively with our delivery and engineering teams across the group.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain complex e-commerce solutions using .NET and .NET Core frameworks, Azure, and C#.
Analyse client requests and adapt solutions that can fit both the technical team and the client's needs.
Participate in client meetings to clarify technical questions.
Collaborate with the delivery team on defining, estimating, documenting, and evaluating the technical solution of a project.
Collaborate cross-team and cross-platforms to share knowledge and solve problems.
Establish and promote best practices that will empower the team to build high-quality applications.
Work collaboratively with the delivery and engineering team to ensure that the solutions produced meet the quality and performance standards expected.
Lead and mentor junior team members when needed.
Work with the engineering team to set technical directions and ensure developmental progress for the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years of experience developing web-based applications.
At least 3 years of experience working with .NET and .NET Core frameworks
Working experience with Azure DevOps and Azure
Knowledge of MACH Architecture (Microservices, API first, Cloud Native, and Headless).
Excellent knowledge of the C# language.
Experience in complex web development projects and/or digital transformation projects.
Experience in e-Commerce projects is a plus.
Experience in an agency/consultancy environment.
Working experience with Git, GitLab, and JIRA.
Curiosity about technology and ability to advocate for change when needed, with a constant focus on quality and usability.
Familiar with SCRUM processes and experienced in working in an agile way.
Willing to learn new things and to share knowledge with others.
Great problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
