Solution Architect
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Solution Architect at IMPACT, you play a vital role in shaping our clients’ digital products and commerce platforms, from early vision to scalable, value-creating solutions.
In close collaboration with client stakeholders and IMPACT’s cross-functional teams (Tech Leads, UX, Design, QA), business ambitions are turned into clear product roadmaps, robust architectures, and actionable requirements, ensuring strong alignment across technology, experience, and commercial goals.
In addition, the role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, navigating complexity and providing a strong foundation for decision-making, while delivering high-end omnichannel commerce solutions with the team for leading Scandinavian and European brands.
Primary tasks:
Define solutions and architecture in close collaboration with the customer, UX, Design and Tech Leads.
Drive and communicate product vision and roadmaps, aligning stakeholders across client and IMPACT teams.
Be in close collaboration with the Product Owner at the customers site to ensure progress with product backlog.
Ensure customer experience concepts are supported by a strong and scalable IT strategy.
Facilitate workshops and strategic sessions with clients.
Create clear documentation (business requirements, IT architecture, etc.).
Ensure governance and develop best practices for internal processes for IT strategy and architecture.
YOUR PROFILE
This role suits a profile that combines strong digital and advisory experience, who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs, motivated by turning complexity into clear direction and tangible outcomes. Additionally, we imagine that you bring:
Experience from advisory roles such as Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, Solution Consultant or similar.
Strong understanding of digital strategy, product development, and solution design.
Proven ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, clear priorities and value-creating IT solutions
Confidence working in complex stakeholder environments; experience from manufacturing or B2B contexts is an advantage.
Strong facilitation skills and the ability to lead workshops and align decision-makers.
A curious, ambitious mindset and comfort working in a collaborative, informal culture.
A consistent focus on quality, value creation and results.
A technical and/or business-oriented educational background (ITKO, Information Management, Cand.IT or similar).
You communicate with clarity and credibility, build trusted relationships, and naturally position yourself as a strategic partner to clients; someone who not only understands what needs to be built, but why it matters and how to get there.
