Legal Consultant (Maternity Cover)
Join IMPACT’s People & Culture team as Legal Consultant and be a key legal sparring partner, ensuring compliant, practical, and business-driven HR practices.
March 2026 – January 2027 | People & Culture
ABOUT THE JOB
As Legal Consultant, you will become part of our dedicated People & Culture team and play a key role in ensuring that our HR practices remain fully compliant with Danish employment law and relevant international standards.
You will handle a variety of day-to-day assignments, providing timely, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal advice to managers and stakeholders. You will support employment law matters across the organisation and collaborate closely on strategic people initiatives.
In addition, the role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment with freedom under responsibility, a strong focus on professional development, and close sparring with ambitious and highly skilled colleagues. All within a professional setting that values a strong and social work culture.
YOUR PROFILE
As a Legal Consultant in IMPACT, we expect you to be experienced within Danish employment law. Ideally the right fit for the role would also have knowledge of Norwegian and/or Swedish employment law, though this is not the most important requirement. Additionally, you thrive in fast-paced, solution-oriented environments with changing priorities and have a strong interest in HR legal processes and case handling.
A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented mindset is key, combined with strong legal expertise and professionalism. Clear communication skills are essential to translate legal requirements into practical HR and business solutions, and familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) as well as proficiency in English, both written and spoken, are required. Moreover, we expect you to:
Provide guidance on employment law and labor disputes.
Prepare and update employment contracts and addendums.
Handle warnings, disciplinary cases, and terminations.
Ensure HR processes comply with local employment laws and company standards.
Update and implement HR policies and guidelines in line with legal changes.
Update Manager and Employee Handbooks.
Support HR administrative processes, including salary adjustments and bonus schemes.
Manage freelancers and external consultants.
Provide guidance on Swedish and Norwegian employment law matters.
Support offboarding processes and other ad hoc projects.
We are looking for a team member who can contribute to a fun and healthy everyday culture at IMPACT, while ensuring a high standard professionalism in close collaboration with your colleagues.
Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience within employment law and hold a master’s degree in law (Cand.jur.) or business law (Cand.merc.jur.), or equivalent qualifications.
