Senior Experience Director
ABOUT THE JOB
As our strategic Senior Experience Director, you’ll play a key role in crafting and executing CX strategies that translate business objectives into outstanding user experiences. With a focus on client satisfaction and innovation, you’ll work directly with clients to align digital experiences with their business goals while ensuring usability, consistency, and cutting-edge design solutions. As the B2B subject matter expert on CX and digital design, we expect you to represent IMPACT in our go-to-market efforts, including conferences, webinars, and more.
Beyond shaping the strategic direction of CX and design, you will oversee and develop a team of UX and design professionals. You’ll ensure that the team is motivated, well-supported, and aligned with best practices in design execution. You’ll be responsible for performance management, professional development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Client-Centric Excellence
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on how user-centered design can elevate their business and digital presence.
- Lead the Experience practice in delivering solutions that are both innovative and aligned with business goals, ensuring client satisfaction is always a priority.
- Responsible for CX sales budget and strategic client relationships.
Innovation & Industry Expertise
- Position yourself as a subject matter expert in the field. Lead the articulation of the Experience practice’s unique value to both clients and the broader market. Represent IMPACT at industry conferences, webinars, and public speaking engagements, sharing insights and innovations that elevate IMPACT’s profile and influence within the digital commerce ecosystem.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate new tools and methodologies into our offerings, ensuring IMPACT’s Experience practice remains competitive and forward-thinking.
- Continuously evolve and refine IMPACT’s Experience value proposition, positioning IMPACT as a leader in UX and digital design innovation.
Creative Strategy & Execution:
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from discovery and research through to execution, ensuring our design solutions are rooted in a deep understanding of user needs.
- Drive high-level Experience strategies, collaborating with clients to create engaging, user-friendly digital experiences that meet both business and user expectations.
Collaboration Across Teams
- Work closely with cross-functional delivery teams—development, operations, project management—to ensure smooth integration of CX and design work into overall project delivery.
- Ensure CX and design efforts are aligned with project scopes, technical requirements, and client budgets, maintaining operational efficiency.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Experience team, ensuring a high-performance culture and fostering professional growth.
- Implement best practices for performance management, skills enhancement, and career development within the team.
- Lead recruitment efforts, hiring and retaining top UX and design talent to strengthen IMPACT’s Experience practice.
- Foster an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the Experience team.
YOUR PROFILE
We imagine that you have solid experience in commercially impacting clients with CX and design and a strong track record in transacting offerings and projects to clients. In addition you have:
- Strong consultancy skills, with the ability to serve as a strategic advisor to clients on how design can drive business results.
- Extensive experience in UX and UI design, with a deep understanding of design thinking principles and processes.
- A strong leadership background, with proven experience in managing and developing design teams.
- A creative and innovative mindset with the ability to anticipate future trends and incorporate them into client projects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire clients and internal teams at all levels.
